Lvira ran into the restaurant, blinded by tears. Why me? How could they? ran through her head. She curled up in a corner.
And sobbed uncontrollably.
Soon, she felt arms around her, stroking her hair, murmuring comforting words in her ear.
"It's okay, 'Vira. Everything'll be fine." Lorcan's voice murmured.
She turned into his embrace, limp, and broken. "It won't ever be okay again, Lorcan. I almost got raped." Her voice was a soft croak.
He stiffened. "What?"
Lvira was too tired to be snippy. She simply nodded. "That alley outside. A stranger saved me."
Lorcan's eyes filled with despair and self-loathing. "I can't believe I wasn't there for you. I should have been there. I should have done something. I'm so sorry, Lvira."
"You didn't know. I'll be all right." She managed a weak smile.
He hesitated, and nodded. "Let's go back to the school, okay? I'll always be there if you need anything, Vira."
"Okay. Thanks, Lorcan."
He answered by gently kissing her forehead. She closed her eyes. An electric tingle just spread from her forehead to her heart-it was going crazy.
He smiled faintly.
"Come on, let's go."

IT'S PRACTICALLY A "oh I love you so much Lvira oh will you be with me forever even though I don't want to say it out loud" MOMENT!!!!! THEY'RE NOT A FREAKING COUPLE, AND YOU NEED TO ACTUALLY LEARN HOW TO MAKE A HURT COMFORT SCENE THAT'S NOT DRIPPING WITH SO MUCH INCORRECT ROMANCE I NEARLY THREW UP!

ReplyDeleteIf I don't have experience with being friends with boys, then why is it that the only person who has been my friend and has helped me through abandonment by girls who called me a friend for all of my school years is a boy? And plus he's one of my minicrushes, too, although now he has a girlfriend and I don't act at all like I have a minicrush on him.....
